Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Casi Technologies' repair services, our website, and our messaging platform for businesses. By using our services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

1. Our services

Casi Technologies provides:

  • Device repair — in-home and drop-off repair, data recovery, virus/malware removal, networking and Wi-Fi setup, and smart home installation.
  • A messaging platform — software that lets businesses manage customer conversations from Facebook Messenger, Instagram, website chat, and other channels in one place.

2. Accounts

If you create an account with us, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know right away at hello@issynow.com if you think your account has been compromised. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

3. Repair services

  • Quotes and pricing. Prices on our pricing page are starting estimates. We'll always confirm the final cost with you before beginning work, and we won't exceed a quote you've agreed to without checking with you first.
  • Back up your data first. Repairs sometimes carry a risk of data loss. We take reasonable care, but you're responsible for backing up your data before any service, and we're not liable for data loss except where caused by our negligence.
  • Pre-existing conditions. We're not responsible for issues unrelated to the repair we performed, or for conditions that existed before you brought the device to us.
  • Unclaimed devices. Devices left with us for an extended period without contact from the owner may be handled according to our unclaimed-property policy, which we'll provide at drop-off.

4. Messaging platform — additional terms for business customers

  • You're responsible for how your business uses the platform to communicate with your own customers, including complying with applicable law (including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, where it applies to you).
  • You're responsible for the accuracy of any automated-reply configuration you set up (pricing, hours, policies) — we're not responsible for a reply the platform sends based on information you provided.
  • Connecting a Facebook Page, Instagram account, or other third-party account also means you agree to that platform's own terms.
  • You can disconnect a connected account, or request deletion of data associated with it, at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our services
  • Use the messaging platform to send unsolicited bulk or spam messages

6. Intellectual property

Our website, software, and branding are owned by Casi Technologies. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of that to you. You retain ownership of the content and data you provide to us.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

Our services are provided "as is." While we work to provide reliable, high-quality service, we don't guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any repair will resolve every issue with a device.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Casi Technologies is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

You can stop using our services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to our services if these terms are violated, or to protect the security of our systems or other users.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our services change. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
